Wie auf der Shareaza Homepage zu lesen ist,
wird Shareaza in der neuen Version (1.9) auf zwei weitere Netzwerke (zusätzlich zu dem Gnutella Netzwerk) zugreifen können.

Als erstes soll eine beta Version (Am 06.05.03) ins Netz gestellt werden, für die noch Tester gesucht werden damit man Shareaza optimal auf die verschiedenen Netzwerke abstimmen kann.

Shareaza ist das bisher einzige Programm, welches das Gnutella 2 Netzwerk nutzt und hat seit seinem Erscheinen für Furore gesorgt.
Also ich bin sehr gespannt auf die neue Version,
denn für mich ist Shareaza auch so schon eines der besten P2P Programme!

The next version of Shareaza represents a fundamental shift: Shareaza will no longer strive to be the ultimate Gnutella client ? it will strive to be the ?ultimate P2P client?.
Shareaza 1.9 will offer access to two additional P2P networks, both of which enjoy substantial popularity, as well as the premiere Gnutella2 network and support for the legacy Gnutella1 network. Following that, future versions will offer an even wider selection of networks.
These changes will redefine Shareaza as a true ?P2P client?, rather than simply a ?Gnutella client?. People will be free to choose Shareaza as their client of choice without being restricted to only one or two networks.
Shareaza 1.9 will be released soon, however before that happens there will be a public beta version to fine-tune the support for the two additional P2P networks, and ensure maximum compatibility and usability. This is where we need your help.
Anyone who is interested in helping to test and refine the new Shareaza will be most welcome to do so, particularly those who have prior experience using the new networks through other P2P programs.
The Shareaza public beta will be available by Tuesday (May 6th), and the Shareaza 1.9 final version will be released whenever the public beta testers deem it ready. Details of the specific networks which are supported will be posted prior to the public beta itself.

Ab sofort bietet Shareaza zugriff auf das eDonkey Netzwerk und Bit Torrent und nutzt atürlich weiterhin das Gnutella 2 Netzwerk.

Früher war ich grosser Shareaza Fan, naja, aber seit es Piolet gibt.... naja, ihr wisst schon

Das Programm ist echt genial. Schon alleine wegen dem BitTorrent Support, kein Netz ist schneller als BitTorrent

Hey mir gefällt das neue Shareaza wirklich gut, vorallem weil ich endlich auch was anderes als das Gnutella Netz damit nutzen kann...

hmm Bittorent läuft schonmal ganz gut, aber ist es normal das man beim Edonkey netz immer immer so einen hohen Queu bekommt?

Hab zum testen mal x-men 2 reingehauen und der niedrigste ist bei 1000 -_- Ich mein ich bin hinter nenm router aber den Port leite ich weiter (standart edonkey port ... ist auch in shareaza eingestellt)

eDonkey läuft bei mir nicht sehr prahl.
Achja zu dem Artikel auf der Hauptseite, irgendwie hat der verfasser keine Ahnung von BitTorrent "Unbekannte Dateien" da gibts ja wohl gerade nur die neuen Wichtigen Sachen zu einem Super Speed

Warum verwendest Du dann keinen gescheiten BT-Client?
Shareaza ist fuer mich ein Leecher-Client.
Nicht weil Shareaza-User nicht sharen wollen, sondern weil der groesste Teil des Share-Volumens zurueck ins GNutella Netz fliesst waehrend emule- und BT-Netz User dabei "aussen vor" bleiben
Desshalb wird er immer haeufiger in den anderen Netzen, z.T sogar automatisch geblockt
(z.B das Stuffer-Plugin fuer Azureus, diverse eMule-MODs)
Von daher saolltet Ihr Euch evtl. mal ueberlegen, ob das Alles so richtig ist
